Puneet Rampall, who is also a representative of Edugain in India, said that the objective of this seminar is to generate awareness among the student community about MBBS study in Ukraine and Russia. In the seminar we will assist students for admission in MBBS programmes in reputed institutions which are approved by Medical Council of India (MCI). The studies of MBBS are very cost effective in these countries’ vis-a-vis other international colleges and universities. All institutions are government owned. What’s more, the Ukranian and Russian method of teaching and degrees have world wide acceptance.
Apart from being cost effective, there are many benefits of studying MBBS in Ukraine & Russia . First and foremost is the ease of the admission process. Added Puneet that the admission process is easy as it consists of simple steps.  Firstly, the students have to send us the copy of their international passport, which should be valid not less than 2 years, and their 10th and 10 + 2 certificates & qualified NEET certificates. Secondly, the university prepares the Admission Confirmation Letter for the students and sends it to them. The preparation of Admission Letter takes 1-3 days. There are no entrance exams for admissions.
It was announced that the ‘MBBS Abroad Seminar’ will witness the presence of both Ms. Buzunar Alina and Mariam Gaidamaka so that prospective students get first-hand information about the college or university that they want to pursue MBBS in.
Alina Said that the MBBS programme is for 6 years and the medium of instruction is English which is beneficial for Indian students. There is no need to clear exams like TOEFL or IELTS. Our institution Dnepropetrovsky Medical Academy of Ministry of Health of Ukraine has a practical oriented system of MBBS education. We send students to hospitals in European countries for internships after 2nd year. We also run a special students’ programme under which a scientific programme in collaboration with different European countries is held.
Mariam Gaidamaka said that the students will get quality education as teaching staff comprises of more than 90% of professors of sciences. The students also get access to the most modern laboratories, technical and research centers. The students will get a Medical degree which is recognized by MCI, WHO, UNESCO, PMDC and other international organizations.
There is coaching provided by expert staff  for MCI preparation who come to the University to teach for 2 weeks on a regular basis each year. This is to train students to clear the MCI examination, if they want to practice in India after their programme ends in Ukraine or  Russia. It was informed that though the course has International recognition and students can practice in their country of choice, they will according to global norms have to clear the local exam of the country where they want work.
Ukraine & Russia are Indian friendly destinations to pursue MBBS. The reasons - Indian food is available; textbooks and study material are provided to students for free, there is 100% visa for deserving students, no donations are taken and 100% guarantee to get admission and invitation letter is there.
