Sheru Classic Sets Up Battle of Brawns as Over 300 Men and Women Vie for IFBB Pro Cards

Chandigarh 01^st March:- Providing a much-needed platform to budding bodybuilders to prove their mettle in the global arena, the IFBB Pro League Qualifier Series held here on Sunday under the auspices of “Steadfast Nutrition presents Sheru Classic” saw more than 300 men and women athletes compete in seven categories for the coveted IFBB Pro Cards.

Organised at Tagore Theatre under the tutelage of Sheru Aangrish, who is only the second Indian to bag an IFBB Pro Card and become an internationally certified professional bodybuilder, the “Steadfast presents Sheru Classic” IFBB Pro League Qualifier Series was truly a battle of brawns as the athletes contended for IFBB Pro Cards in three men and four women categories to begin their journey towards being part of the biggest platform, Mr Olympia Las Vegas.

“Steadfast presents Sheru Classic” provides a unique platform to aspiring athletes through the IFBB Pro Qualifiers, gives them an opportunity to earn Pro Cards and paves their entry to Pro Shows, ultimately leading towards the dream of every athlete, the Mr Olympia stage.

An open-for-all championship for athletes worldwide, the “Steadfast presents Sheru Classic” IFBB Pro League Qualifier Series has been designed to bring a global platform to India, allowing Indian athletes the ease of competing in their own country against the earlier scenario where they had to go abroad to participate in qualifying stages. The Qualifier Series was conducted in the categories of Men’s Bodybuilding, Men’s Physique, Men’s Classic Physique, Women’s Bikini, Women’s Figure, Women’s Physique and Women’s Fitness.

The international jury which adjudged the winners consisted of eminent professionals who have made a name in bodybuilding and fitness, including Terrick El Guindy (Head Judge), Amir Riazifard, Dr Deepak Parashar, Dr Som Tugnait and Rita Singh.
