ISHRAE Holds Talk on Utilisation of Renewable Resources, Reducing Energy Footprint

Chandigarh, April 03, 2021:- COVID has taken all of us by storm. We are now more aware to come out of it and mitigate the risk. With this awareness we see a new dawn or a Naya Savara which also our theme for the event. Besides a max 100 people gathering in a hall meant for 300. We have ensured adequate measures like social distancing, mandatory masks, and proper sanitization and safety protocols being strictly adhered to. This was stated by Ajay Bansal - Regional Director, North -2, ISHRAE.

Ajay Bansal - Regional Director, North -2, ISHRAE further shared that ISHRAE is The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers established in 1981 at New Delhi. It is the largest Technical society globally and has grown over the years - currently we are 28000+ strong. Chandigarh Chapter was installed in 1999 and has more than 200 members currently.

Ashish Rakhija - Top MEP and green building consultant of India, said that each year several key initiatives are taken which contribute significantly towards optimizing Energy usage, sustainability and making the planet more liveable. Utilisation of renewable resources, reducing energy footprint with each passing day has been always on the agenda and significant betterment has been achieved year on year. ISHRAE continues to set new benchmarks in the field of Energy savings and is consistently driving Innovation to set new Industry Trends & Energy utilisation standards. It is our endeavour to innovate and invite open discussions and share best practices across functions and organisations on this platform and gain mutually for the overall betterment of the society.

Ajay Bansal added that on this platform new technologies are been discussed which are about sustainability, complete building information modelling (BIM) and best practices in the industry. He said further that dignitaries with diverse backgrounds – end users, consultants, contractors, architects etc. shared their perspectives and put forward that a more collaborative effort shall help bring more fruitful results.

This face to Face event has indeed marked the beginning of a Naya Savera for Technology in HVAC and re-established the relevance of the ISHRAE platform towards contribution to Sustainable buildings and innovative Technologies for the Future.
